This agreement is between you and Brad Macdonald ("the developer") for the software DiskMapper ("the software").
License
The developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on Mac computers that you own or control. The software is donationware — free to use, nothing locked behind a paywall. The optional "Buy Me a Coffee" link is a voluntary donation, not a purchase, and does not change your rights under this agreement.
Restrictions
You may not redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the software, or misrepresent its origin. You may not reverse-engineer the software except where applicable law permits it regardless of this agreement.
Disk changes
DiskMapper can move files to the Trash, remove local iCloud copies, and move or copy files to locations you choose, at your direction. It does not back up your data before doing so and is not a backup tool. You remain responsible for confirming any cleanup or move operation before it happens, and for maintaining your own backups. The developer is not liable for data loss resulting from use of the software's cleanup, move, copy, or Full Disk Access features.
No warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer's total liability for any claim related to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach it. Sections "Disk changes", "No warranty", and this sentence survive termination.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
